Shipping policy

Most orders placed through our website ship out on the next business day. 

Orders that include free standard shipping will be shipped via United States Postal Service First Class/Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. This is typically a 3 - 5 business day service. We are not responsible for any delays on the courier's end. We will provide as much assistance as possible, but typically only have access to the same tracking information as the customer. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we attempt to assist with any shipping concerns.

International shipments will be delivered by your local postal service. Tracking information may show a package is "delivered" while it is still making its way to the customer. This only indicates that the package has left the hands of USPS and is entering the county of delivery. International mailing labels require a full first and last name to be displayed. Standard international mailing service may take anywhere from 10 business days - 25 business days. Below is our international rate chart:

Shipments totaling over $300 will require a signature upon delivery, for the safety of VBK and the customer's product.

Multiple orders for one address will be combined into one shipment. 

Co-op orders will begin shipping the day after the order form closes (typically weekly or bi-weekly). 

 

Optional Navidium Shipping Protection

To enhance your shopping experience and give you extra peace of mind, we offer Navidium Shipping Protection. Instead of dealing with slow or ineffective claims through traditional postal services, you can safeguard your order for a minimum of $0.99 through 2% of the order's total value. If your package gets lost or arrives damaged, we’ll send you a replacement. If we can’t replace the item, you’ll receive a full refund.

 

When a package is considered lost:

  • The tracking shows “delivered,” but is not at the address that was provided when the order was placed. Please allow a day or two for any inaccurate scans to be corrected by the carrier.
  • The tracking hasn’t updated and the item remains “in transit” for an unusually long time (at the discretion of customer service agent).
  • The carrier officially declares the package as lost with documentation.

When a package is considered damaged:

  • Your item(s) arrive broken or visibly damaged from shipping.
  • Part of your order is missing because the packaging opened or was compromised in transit.

Situations not covered by Navidium Shipping Protection:

  • Delays in shipping caused by the carrier or weather. These are classified as delays, not losses.
  • Packages returned or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address info at checkout.
  • Items that haven’t shipped from our warehouse yet.
  • Stolen packages that were marked as delivered.
  • Shipments that have already been replaced or refunded through Navidium. If there’s an issue with a replacement shipment, please contact the carrier directly.

 

How to file a claim: If you purchased Navidium Shipping Protection, email us at support@vanillabeankings.com within 48 hours of the delivery date. You’ll hear back from our team as soon as possible, typically around 1–2 business days.

In your email, include:

  • Subject line: “Shipping Protection Claim for Order <insert order number>”
    • Order number will start with "VBK-"
  • A description of the problem
  • Photos (if the item was damaged)
  • Any other relevant details that support your claim

We’ll continue monitoring your shipment. If it eventually arrives, we will ask you to return by writing "RTS" on the packaging and putting it back into your mailbox. You may also have the option to purchase the second shipment at a discounted price.

 

What to expect after submitting a claim:

  • Our team will investigate the issue within 7 business days.
  • If the claim is denied, we’re unable to offer further assistance.
  • If approved, we’ll either send a replacement or issue a refund to your original payment method.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Navidium Shipping Protection is optional, but declining it means we cannot cover lost packages—even those marked as delivered.
  • We won’t reship or refund packages lost or damaged without coverage.
  • We reserve the right to classify packages as “delayed” if transit issues in your region are known.
  • Claims may be denied if insurance fraud or abuse is suspected.
  • Protection fees are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once your order has shipped.
